American Illustration Profiles: Ellen Weinstein

The third in my series of American Illustration Profiles is an interview with illustrator Ellen Weinstein, who says “make something you believe in or no one else will believe in it either.” Ellen is a smart and vibrant illustrator who creates stunningly beautiful paintings and collages. Her illustration work has helped define the look of Nautilus, powered a series of pointed altweekly covers, and brightened the pages of The New York TImes, among many others. Ellen has a lot of informative and inspiring wisdom that she shares in her interview.

American Illustration Profiles illustrator interviews appear every Thursday, both in an emailed newsletter and on their website. There’s also a companion photographer series, which posts every Tuesday, written and edited by David Schonauer.
