American Illustration Profiles: Monica Ramos
My latest illustrator interview for the American Illustration Profiles series is with Monica Ramos. She’s a smart, young illustrator whose stunningly artful and graceful watercolor paintings have been appearing in publications large and small in the U.S. and Europe, and who recently branched out into fashion design. Monica jokingly says her illustrations are inspired by the Where’s Waldo? books, and it’s easy to see why.
American Illustration Profiles illustrator interviews appear every Thursday, both in an emailed newsletter and on their website. There’s also a companion photographer series, which posts every Tuesday, written and edited by David Schonauer.
